Media production company Youstream used our flexible LED panels for their latest job. Always looking out for recruits, the local fire department decided to invest some time and money in an image film.

The video was recorded near the fire department’s building at dawn to capture the exceptional ambience of twilight.

They also used Bi-Flex 1 and Bi-Flex 2, both powered with V-Mount batteries, for lighting up the scenes.

Because of swift location changes and a small team, the solution for lighting became clear very soon: LED panels from Aladdin—versatile and lightweight. Another major advantage is that these products can be entirely powered by V-Mount batteries. For this shoot, FXLion batteries were used.

As the problem of bad color rendition still exists with LED lighting, it was crucial to obtain good Color Rendition Index (CRI). The CRI of Aladdin’s panels was measured to be around 97.

The ability to change color temperature from 2900 K to 6400 K is also a big advantage since color differences in the surrounding can be quickly and easily matched/adjusted.
